6 fifteen

*6 fifteen

6 fifteen is made up of 5 guys from 5 different areas of North America with 5 different backgrounds that believe in making 1 great sound. Playing together in the clubs early on, the members of 6 fifteen developed relationships that would stand the test of time through success and failure; leading them to the crossroads where their paths met once again. After meeting in the late 90’s, their paths went all different ways. Shane Sutton experienced solo and band success. Jason Grainger had solo production deals. Sam Hunter had been with different bands in the past. In 2008, Jason & Shane began to discuss the possibilities of working together during one of their many writing sessions. Those possibilities became realities when Sam Hunter, Dave Cohen, and Louis Winfield jumped in. The rest is history.

It lent itself to be the breeding ground for jam sessions that left onlookers in awe of the vocal acrobats, first time Nashville pickers wanting to pack there bags, and road players and artists of every stature knowing where they could come to be entertained. That was where Jason developed friendships with the other band members of 6 Fifteen. Jason has sang backgrounds on numerous albums. He has recently produced, written, and sang backgrounds on a project that included artists such as Mila Mason, Bryan White, Mark Collie, Kevin Sharp, John Berry, Linda Davis, Jimmy Fortune and Wayne Warner.
